BREEDER BRANCA WANTS TO BATTLE

History:

Branca left home at the age of 12, with her first pokémon given by mr. Lambert, a good old man who had a pokémon ranch. All her childhood was spent in that ranch, which she visited almost every day, and where she took the first lessons of pokémon raising and breeding, and where her love for pokémon was develloped.

The following years were of journeys and adventures. Branca made a fair pokémon collection, and won many badges and ribbons. When she turned 18, she decided it was time to dedicate her time to a more theoretical and calm par. So she enrolled in the Johto University to learn more about her profession.

By the age of 21, already graduated, she heard mr. Lambert had died. His wife had passed years before and they had to children, and Branca learned (with enoumous surprise) she was nominated the heir of the ranch and its installations. And from then on all she's had is work to keep it going, but all done with love.

Personality:
Branca is usually a nice person in treatment. But taking care of a ranch isn't an easy task, so she's constantly stressed and nervous, not to mention her depressive breakdowns. Her joyful days always look a bit maniacal _{("happy" maniacal, not "serial killer" maniacal XD)} Normally, she's calm and constantly with her thoughts somewhere else - in battle, however, she's deeply concentrated. A bit bossy, yes; but very kind also, never denying help to anyone who needs it.

She's hired 3 people to help her with the business, but everuthing is too new and there aren't much income. Therefore, she now is going to every pokémon event she hears about in order to advertise it. In her absence, her employees will take care of evereything... but she's ALWAYS on her poké-gear talking to them and solving problems! XD

Also, Branca is shy and insecure. VERY. EVERYWHERE. That's one of the reasons why she's not very fond of battling. She really looks secure when talking to people, but when she gets talked back, or opposed, she immediately withdraws.



POKEYMANS, I CHOOSE YOU!

Rowan (Female/Brave/Heat Rock) - Fire - Nickname: Rowie
Branca's first pokémon and the very leader of all of her 'mons. Rowan is a fully grown and classy ninetales who's become a "big sister" to Branca, always trying to calm her down on her insecurity/nervous breakdowns. She can talk with her master through telepathy, although the opposite DOESN'T happen (Branca still has to speak). She's the official boss among the pokémon of the ranch when Branca isn't around.
Rowan is kind, respectful and patient, not to mention more impressive than average ninetales, but is already tired of fighting. But she was known in her time for being pretty implacable in battle. Branca will let her out only in three situations: 1) To follow a team strategy 2) when she's nervous or insecure or 3) when she SERIOUSLY PISSED and wants to end the battle in 2 turns. Yep.
Rowan's fur isn't like that naturally. Branca brushes her fur to look like this every day. Despite not fighting much, Rowan is her trainer's #1 contest pokémon.

Dikana (Shiny -- Female/Modest/Leftovers) - Ice - Nicknames: Dikkie, lil' Dikkie, Fat Fox (courtesy of the original Dikana)
Named after one of Branca's friends who can't stand pokémon at all (thing Branca considers "an heresy"), Dikana is docile and gentle. Given as a donation to the ranch for her former trainer thought she couldn't fight due to a sight problem, Branca first thought of keeping her as a pet - until she KO'd a garchomp who'd ran from his trainer, in a very overkilling way. From then on, Branca decided to train her as her main battle poké for now, and she's a diligent and obedient one.
Dikkie is a biy shorter and a bit chubbier than average glaceon, but that doesn't interfere with her speed, nor do the specially-designed glasses (her icy fur keep it glued to her face and only fall with very hard blows). She loves eating and to be cuddled, and has a nice relationship with Ling. She likes the original Dikana too - who says lil' Dikkie is the ONLY pokémon she likes a little.
Dikkie is mischievious, especially to anything related to "food". Her leftovers are usually half eaten cookies or bones she kept for after dinner. She's also afraid of fire - anything bigger than a campfire will make her uneasy, and being surrounded by flames will make her seriously panic.

Ling (Male/Relaxed/Shell Bell) - Fire - Nickname: Prince (lol)
Branca found Ling (as a Cyndaquil) near Cinnabar Vulcano, an incredibly rare sight. She named him after a character from a TV series she used to like, thanks to those squinty eyes; she also messed with his fur to look more like him. (mening he could look like a regular typhlosion from time to time)
Ling is very calm and likes to sleep. He's constantly with an interrogation or blank face, but deep down he's very aware of everything, anylizing. He never strikes before knowing it'll be super-effective (sorry for the pun xD), but the ones who have seem him really furious... let's say his flames burn white. He is not very talkative - usually shows his discontentment with nasty glares, diligently ignored by Branca. Ling has claws on all four legs.
Ling also loves to play with Dikana and plan mischiefs together, and is secretly in love with her - but the fact that she doesn't seem to notice and her fear of fire makes him keep it to himself. The fact she avoids being too close to him because of his natural warmth (which makes her melt a little, for being an ice pokémon) and almost never touching him also torments the poor typhlosion.
His shell bell is tied on one of his front paws, but may be on his neck as a collar too.

Aurora (Female/Rash/Muscle Band) - Grass - Nicknames: Aura, Slaughter
What do you do when you find Aurora in a dark alley? You run for your life. Seriously.
She's always been wild, since she was an eevee, and traded from trainer to trainer. The last one evolved her hoping she'd calm down - she just became wild AND stronger. Abandoned at the ranch, she'd attack every pokémon around, being Branca's or the costumers'.
Branca did everyhting to teach her to live with others, but it wasn't before she pushed it too far and Branca beat the crap outta her with a passing marowak's club she would listen and obey. Still, other pokémon don't mess with her, and Branca prefers to keep her pokéball always around (it's on her necklace)
Aurora likes to slice and dice. THE END. All the other pokémon in the party dislike her and she'd attack them if she had the chance. Except Rowan: once Aura attacked one of Rowan's cubs, and ever since she regained conscience from the counterattack (2 weeks later, with her ears and tail burnt to nothing) she refers to the Ninetales as "m'am" and lowers her head and ears when she's around.
Aurora is very fluffly. Don't. Be. Fooled.

Rubbie (Male/Jolly) - Water/Ground - Nicknames: Rub, Rubberduck
He was Branca's first capture, at age 12, and she's completely sure he doesn't even know he's even been captured. Always smiling. Always forgetting moves. Always happy and incredibly joyful. And ALWAYS marvelled with shiny lights. That's Rubbie.
He develloped a very simple way to deal with his dumbness in battle, though: when in doubt, MUDDYWATER THEM.

Jezebel (Female/Careful/Expert Belt) - Fighting/Steel - Nicknames: Bel, Jess
Jezebel was bred by Branca and given as a present to her younger sister, Flora - now Flora is in Isshu and asked her older sister to use her in the tournament. She isn't very familiar with Branca though; she's obedient and loyal, but disynchonizes with the trainer when she starts going insecure - that's too much for Jezebel's aura reading. She often gets nervous and act at her own judgement when that happens, ignoring Branca completely.
Jezebel likes Rowan for she's calm and kind, but misses her trainer and her old party friends. Her "hair" is also Branca's handiwork, but she doesn't like it too much.

PET: Phoebe (Shiny -- Female/Bold/TwistedSpoon) - Psychic - Nicknames: Pheebs, Walking-talkie
Phoebe was literally dragged by Branca to Ohana Islands for her to mantain a little more in touch with the business. Phoebe's job is to connect telepathically with the kadabra of the ranch to receive news and whatsoever. Basically she's a "walking-talkie" (Branca sometimes does refer to her like that. Phoebe hates it)
But the reason why Phoebe refused to go to Ohana Islands with Branca is pretty simple: as a ralts, she's very sensitive to emotions, specially her trainer's. And Branca has been in a EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER lately. Phoebe is always worn out with all sudden mood changes and conflictive emotions. Not to mention Branca's never travalled with her before, and constantly FORGETS her everywhere, so busy she is with all worries (and you know what trainers do when they see a shiny pokémon, right?)
Phoebe's known moves are Teleport and Dream Eater. She usually uses the last one to eat Branca's dreams as revenge.
